Hard Rock – Surprisingly works really well for a wedding – Rebekah & Josh Cinematic Film

At this point, we feel like we are truly part of the family. There is a special group of friends who have continued to refer us year after year and for that we are very grateful. Seeing the same faces time and time again has been a blessing for our business and we thank you for all of the referrals. This time around it was for Rebekah and Josh’s wedding.

As soon as I heard the music that was playing when the ceremony started, I knew the story was going to be interesting to edit. Does Metallica and Guns N’ Roses work at a wedding? That is not usually what you think will be playing as the bride walks down the aisle. While it threw me off for a little while, I figured why not give it a shot in the edit. We ended up using classical scores of the two songs and what we found were great story telling companions. The music worked so well with our types of edits and it forced us too be more creative. Not only that, we had to somehow fit Ingrid Michaelson into the edit directly in between Metallica and GNR. What we finally end up with is two fans of hard rock with a an amazing story.

Thanks so much to Percy Sales who did a rock star job at coordinating the wedding, and Laurie Bailey from Laurie Bailey Photography, who is always a pleasure to work with. Thanks as well to Craig and the entire cinema team.
